Corrections Policy
We want published information to remain accurate and useful as facts, products and digital services change.
Reporting an error
Readers can report a suspected factual error through our Contact page. Please include the article title or URL and explain the information that may be incorrect.
How we review corrections
We review the relevant passage and, where appropriate, compare it with current authoritative or primary sources. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note.
Material corrections
When a meaningful factual statement is corrected, we update the article and its modified date. When additional transparency is useful, the article may include a short note explaining what was corrected or clarified.
Updates are not always corrections
Digital services and policies change frequently. Updating an article because a platform, form, feature or rule changed after publication is an update rather than evidence that the original article was necessarily incorrect.
